ASP CSP Exam Workshop Print E-mail

This workshop is modeled after our successful online review course for the ASP and CSP exams. The workshop is offered for those who prefer a short intense course provided in a traditional classroom environment.

  • Course notebook with a hard copy of all lectures provided at the beginning of the course. Format is 3 slides on the left side with room for notes on the right.

  • An exam-approved TI-30XS Multiview™ calculator. All in-class work will be done with this calculator.
  • Recorded lectures to download and review after the workshop.

ABIH / BCSP Points

The workshop is approved by the ABIH for 4.68 Safety CM (Certification Maintenance) Points. The BCSP provides 4.0 COC (Continuance of Certification) points.

Course Objectives

Participants successfully completing the ASP/CSP Online Review Course should expect to be able to pass the fundamentals and comprehensive safety exams administered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) provided they sit for the exam within 1 year of completing the course

Successful completion of a BCSP exam is not required to receive a certificate of completion.

Prerequisites

Participants will benefit the most from this class if they have:

  1. completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in a physical science, engineering, or health and safety program, and
  2. at least 4 years professional experience in the health and safety field.

The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) requires candidates to have completed at least a 2-year degree in Safety or a 4-year degree in any subject from an accredited institution. For more information, see BCSP Application Guidelines.

Guarantee

If you meet the conditions below and do not pass your exam, you may take the online course at no cost provided the course is offered and space is available. Conditions:

  1. You must complete the course
  2. You must take the exam within 12 months of completing the workshop.
  3. You must mail a copy of your exam results notification to Bowen EHS, Inc. within 30 days of receiving the results.
