Bowen EHS, Inc. Training Advisory Board Print E-mail

The purpose of the Bowen EHS, Inc. Training Advisory Board is to ensure that professional development courses offered by Bowen EHS, Inc. provide high quality instruction and meet or exceed the standards set by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET).

The Bowen EHS, Inc Training Advisory Board is composed of at least three (3), but not more than five (5) members. Board members are selected by the President of Bowen EHS, Inc. At least two Board members must have experience providing environmental, health, and safety professional development training.

Board Member Responsibilities

Board members are responsible for:

  1. attending Board meetings,
  2. evaluating training needs as assigned by the Chair,
  3. evaluating training resources as assigned by the Chair,
  4. evaluating and approving new proposed courses,
  5. evaluating existing course offerings and curricula,
  6. participation in the annual review of training policies and procedures,
  7. providing objective and unbiased advice,
  8. excusing themselves from assignments when a conflict of interest exists, and
  9. maintaining confidentiality of information obtained through the fulfillment of these responsibilities.
