Syllabus
Our philosophy on exam preparation is to be sure clients understand the fundamental issues in each subject. The exam is tough. Clients prepared to answer the fundamental questions can devote more time to the advanced questions on each subject. Client experience provides the knowledge to answer more advanced questions.
Lectures are held two (2) times per week and last 2 hours each.
Recorded sessions are always available to view in case you miss or want to review a particular subject, for up to one year from the course start date. (Access to recordings can be extended beyond one year for a $50 convenience fee.) Below are the lecture topics covered in this review.

Course Objectives
Participants successfully completing the CHMM Online Review Course should be able to achieve a score of 70% or better on the comprehensive final exam administered at the end of the online review course.
In addition to achieving a score of 70% or better on the CHMM Online Review Course final exam, participants should expect to be able to pass the certification exam administered by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) provided they sit for the exam within 1 year of completing the course.
Successful completion of the IHMM certification exam is not required to receive a certificate of completion of the course.

Prerequisites
Clients will benefit the most from this class if they have:
- completed an undergraduate or graduate degree in hazardous materials management, a physical science, environmental science, or health and safety program, and
- at least 3 years professional experience in the health and safety field.
The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) requires candidates to have completed the following:
- a 4-year degree in hazardous materials management, environmental sciene, one of the physical sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in the field of hazardous materials management or a related field.

Completion Requirements
Clients are required to complete the following list of items to receive certificate of completion for the course within 30 days after the course ends:
- Listen to each of the lectures (participate live or review recorded lectures)
- Submit all homework assignments
- Score at least a 70% or higher on the multiple choice final exam.
Clients who meet the completion requirements will receive a certificate of participation.

- You must complete the course
- You must take the exam within 12 months of completing the online course.
- You must mail a copy of your exam results notification to Bowen EHS, Inc. within 30 days of receiving the results.
