COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of this webinar, students will be able to:
- state the code of ethics outlined by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), and
- state the code of ethics outlined by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), and
- identify an ethics violation given a scenario with an ethics dilemma, and
- determine an appropriate response to a potential ethical dilemma.
SYLLABUS
This webinar will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm eastern U.S. time. Topics to covered include:
- Review of ABIH Code of Ethics
- Review of BCSP Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
- 3 realistic scenarios will be analyzed
- Time for questions and discussion

INSTRUCTOR
This webinar is taught by Michael W Hayslip, Esq, PE, CSP.
Mr. Hayslip is a Certified Safety Professional, Professional Civil Engineer, and Attorney. He has over 25 years professional experience in safety, engineering and the law.
Mr. Hayslip is a member of Associated Builders and Contractor’s National Safety Committee as well as Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE). Mr. Hayslip also serves as the executive director of VPPAC.org, a national non-profit organization that promotes safety and health processes in line with OSHA’s VPP program.

Students must participate in or review the complete lecture and score at least 70% on the exam to receive a certificate of completion.
