Effective Safety and Health Management Systems

Nearly 3.0 million nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses reported by private industry employers in 2014 occurred at a rate of 3.2 cases per 100 equivalent full-time workers, according to estimates from the Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses (SOII) conducted by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Effective management of worker safety and health protection is a decisive factor in reducing the extent and severity of work-related injuries and illnesses and related costs. Based on OSHA guidance, this webinar will outline critical components of an effective safety and health management system.  We will identify those critical components and discuss the implementation process for each.  This webinar will benefit all operations and/or safety personnel with safety responsibilities. This webinar is a 1 hour lecture and 30 minutes of Q&A.
