Introduction to Human Performance

Can you solve HP = W(R+B)?
Sorry, it's not a formula you will find on your EH&S certification exam or your child's Common Core math homework. It's a simple formula that highlights the elements in human performance.  HP = Human Performance, W = Why, R = Results, and B = Behavior. Tim Autrey developed this simple definition for "human performance" to explain "why we do what we do the way we do it".  This introductory webinar will define Human Performance and explain how HP tools can be implemented in your organization to increase productivity and safety compliance. This webinar is a 1 hour lecture and 30 minutes of Q&A.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  1. List the principles of Human Performance.
  2. Identify error likely situations and reduce human errors.
  3. Use HP tools and concepts in incident investigations aimed at preventing recurrence.
  4. Implement a Human Peformance program in their organization.
