We will discuss the most common heat-related illnesses and their risk factors. Using case studies, we will walk through using the WetBulb Globe Temperature to evaluate heat stress, as well as core temperature, heart rate, and other physiologic measures for heat strain evaluation. Finally, we will discuss control options, including work-rest cycles and acclimatization schedules.
