This webinar presentation will provide a basic overview of the main principles of biosafety, which are risk assessment and containment, and will articulate important concepts and areas of particular interest and focus for the CIH community. Ample time will be allocated for questions and answers with the goal that webinar participants obtain a basic understanding of the biosafety discipline and its expected competencies.
