Planning a Confined Space Entry Program
Working in a confined space, especially a Permit-Required Confined Space (PRCS) can be dangerous. Workers face an increased risk of entrapment, engulfment, and hazardous atmospheric conditions. Any employer who allows employee entry into a permit space must develop and implement a written program for the space. A well-defined confined space written program coupled with a well-executed safe work plan ensures that entrants are able to complete their tasks safely.
During this webinar, we will outline the general requirements for an effective confined space entry program and complete and implement a confined space permit.
This webinar is a 1.5-hour lecture with Q&A.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Identify Confined Spaces and Permit-Required Confined Spaces.
- Complete and implement a confined space permit.
- Identify roles and responsibilities in the confined space standards.
- Correctly identify which standard to apply in a given situation.
