I took my ASP exam for the first time and passed. No doubt I would not have passed without the Bowen ASP Review Class! Unfortunately... Fortunately, I had a family emergency and had to postpone my original test date. However, with the extra time, I watched/listened to all of the lectures again, and I think it was very helpful. I studied the Brauer book a little, and used both the Bowen study question app and Pocket Prep on my iPhone. Keep in mind, you're not going to ace this test. If you run across a few questions you weren't prepared for, don't worry. You have to get 107 correct out of 175 to pass. You can miss over 60 questions and still pass. I know we all want to score as high as possible, but the attitude of allowing yourself to miss up to 60 questions can help control anxiety. So there is my strategy and a little advice to calm nerves, for what it's worth. Good luck to all!!

I passed the ASP! Wow, I feel so relieved. After so much hard work when you see the Passed word on the slip, the joy is indescribable.
Thanks Bowen . Practice quizzes helped a lot. There were 200 questions and 300 minutes of allotted time. I thought it was 175 questions!

My biggest worry when facing the task of preparing for the exam was not knowing where to focus my efforts, how best to study for it, and how in-depth I needed to go with the various rubrics. Just came from the local Pearson Vue testing center and after doing a double take on the BCSP printout handed to me it displayed I passed. I am so elated to have this off my back and able now to focus on the CSP. Many many thanks to Russ Bowen, Will Pate, and Mike Edens for all the lectures and their expertise and ease in providing and explaining the information.

I wanted to say THANK YOU for your wealth of information and training! The online course was amazing and the resources Bowen EHS offers to prepare for the ASP and CSP have been unbelievably helpful! I really appreciate all of the support in achieving my CSP!  What an experience...and I'm glad Bowen EHS was part of it.

I took the CIH exam today and received a Preliminary Pass!! This was my second attempt at conquering the beast and the hard work paid off. The lectures by the Bowen team provided a great foundation as to what to expect on the exam. For my second attempt, I also read Recognition of Health Hazards in Industry (by William Burgess) and Industrial Hygiene Reference and Study Guide (by Allan Fleeger and Dean Linquist). I would recommend these books and also recommend to take notes/make flashcards as needed. DataChem was also very helpful as it pointed out my weak spots that I needed to focus on. Good luck to everyone sitting! If it doesn't go your way just remember how far you have come and how much you have learned thus far. You can do it!

I passed the ASP! There was a lot less calculation based questions than I anticipated. The Bowen Class really helped. I also studied "Safety Professional's Reference & Study Guide" by David Yates which helped. A combination of the Bowen Class/App, the study guide mentioned above and the "Pocket Prep" App; I feel I was well prepared. It was a long walk to get that piece of paper (result) waiting for me at the corner of the desk when I left the exam room!

Passed the ASP today! Thanks Patrick and Bowen! I felt confident going into the exam but once it started it was a different story. I was assuming I wasn’t doing good at all, a bunch of 50/50 answers and trying to pick the best answer. Not as much math as I prepared for. Thanks again and good luck to the rest! CSP up next!

I passed! :) I cannot emphasize enough how valuable Bowen has been throughout the past few months (both the class and the premium resources). Although I took the CIH prep class in the summer of 2016, I didn’t actually start studying/preparing until January of this year and I can’t imagine how much more challenging it would have been without these resources to help keep me on track! Russ, thank you so much for putting together such a great course and study materials that made such a massive challenge be achievable and also for making me a better IH! Thanks also to Rick and Otto if they’re still out there! :)
