Falls remain a leading cause of serious workplace injuries and fatalities, making effective fall protection essential in both general industry and construction. Although guardrails, personal fall arrest systems, and other physical safeguards are critical, equipment alone is not enough. Preventing fall-related incidents also requires proactive hazard recognition, consistent procedural compliance, and clear operational accountability.
In this webinar, you will examine the essential components of an effective workplace fall protection program and how OSHA requirements and ANSI standards work together to protect employees working at height. Learn practical strategies for recognizing and controlling fall hazards, strengthening compliance practices, and turning written policies into reliable on-site actions that help prevent serious injuries and save lives.
Objectives
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Identify regulatory and consensus standards relevant to fall protection
- Select and justify methods for controlling fall hazards in the workplace
- Apply best practices for identifying and assessing fall hazards
