Presented: Jul 26, 2023 Available until: Jul 31, 2024
Candidates for EHS certification exams will likely encounter some math questions, or portions of math questions, on their exam for which there is no defined equation. Many candidates become robotic in their approach to math problems, relying solely on the “plug and chug” method. While this method works well for most math problems, some will require candidates to perform a combination of critical thinking, conceptualization, unit conversions, and more. This interactive webinar will guide candidates through a few difficult examples of equation-less math problems and how to approach them.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Use a process for determining whether an equation is available (CIH-only).
- Set up a logical approach for equation-less math problems.
- Work through and solve three equation-less math problems (CIH, CSP, CHMM).
