Daniel Farcas, Ph. D. CIH, CSP, CHMM, M.S. M.A

Lecturer

Dr. Daniel Farcas has more than 20 years of experience in conducting scientific research and leading production teams in a variety of fields including public health, infection control, nanotechnology, microbiology, silica, and asbestos. He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Farcas holds a Ph. D. in Human and Community Development with a major in Natural Resource Management. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager. Dr. Farcas is also the author of numerous easy-to-understand texts for OESH professionals preparing for certification exams including “CIH EXAM Equations simply explained and with examples” and “CSP EXAM Equations simply explained and with examples." Last but not least, he is the father of three beautiful and amazing kids.

Computer Requirements

Support is available for iOS (iPads) and Android Tablets. While smart phones can be used, the screens are too small to display all of the aspects of the Virtual Classroom.  For the best online learning experience, the use of a device with a larger screen is HIGHLY recommended. A physical keyboard is also recommended.
